At Destinations, we are serious about sharing God’s plan for sexuality. That’s why we have a presentation especially for churches and Christian schools.

It’s important for teens to know more than just “God says not to have sex before marriage.” We want teens to understand the why: He loves us and desires the best for us! And when we protect our sexuality and share it only in the context of marriage, we have God’s blessing and protection.

But it’s more than just about sex. We are not only physical beings. We are also emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual. And it’s when we learn how to walk out our sexuality – our maleness and femaleness – with integrity and wholeness, that we can experience and incredible life! We are then living out who God created us to be. It doesn’t get much better than that.

So, when we talk to students, we tell them the truth. Sex isn’t bad. You won’t die if you have sex before marriage. But, you will miss out on God’s best for you. God loves sex – because He created it. It’s not bad, it just needs to be in the right context. Marriage.

We use a 3-day interactive presentation that is filled with God’s truth about our sexuality. It is all based on 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8:

“It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: That you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; and that in this matter, no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you His Holy Spirit.”

Students will understand God’s incredible plan for sexuality and how to live a life a purity. We will discuss:

  • Goals
  • Maturity
  • Sexual Decision Making
  • Risks of Being Sexually Active
  • The Progression of Sexual Activity
  • Intimacy Levels and How to Develop Healthy Intimacy
  • Dealing With Negative Peer Pressure
  • Starting Over/Forgiveness

We look forward to partnering with your school and working to make Destinations impact your students. We are able to tailor the length of the presentation to fit your schedule. We are also available to speak at your Chapel or do an assembly.
